Footaction’s new docu-series unites R&B and Hip Hop artists for eclectic conversations on today’s culture, while showcasing the hottest brands of the retailer. The Youtube series is called Footaction Free Flow, with its first episode focused on travel.

Ken Slide of Footaction said, “Having artists who are at very different phases of their careers weigh in on style, music and so much more makes for really engaging content that resonates with Footaction’s customers.”

Footaction takes E-40 on a bicoastal trip with Omarion, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Casey Veggies. Hailing from California and Illinois, each artist offers different perspectives on music and fashion. They each got into the industry at different times, at different ages and with different technology. And the OG among the group, E-40, offers the others wise advice for longevity—though music sure has changed since his start in the ’80s. The rapper tells them, “To me, Hip Hop used to be urban. Now it’s more suburbian.”

Omarion is getting ready to release his fifth studio album, Reasons, sometime this year. Following his single featuring French Montana, “I’m Up,” and “I’m Sayin'” with Rich Homie Quan, fans can look forward to even more new music when Reasons is finally released.

Omarion recently stopped by iHeartRadio HQ where he told iheartRadio about his upcoming album during an exclusive interview.

Omarion on his upcoming album Reasons

“Yes, my new album titled Reasons. ‘Post To Be’ the biggest record that I’ve had up to date. And just the way that I’m creating music at the moment, and the things that are inspiring me in my life, I’m so happy. And I think you create your best when you’re in a space of love and serenity. Or, vice versa, if you had your heart broken, you feel mean, it’s like those two intense places you create your best music.

Also, just the perception in me, and being a child prodigy, and growing up in the industry, it’s really hard for people to erase what they know you for. For them to introduce new ideas to themselves, like, ‘Oh, I didn’t know he could do that.’ Or, you ‘Oh, I remember that song. But did you hear his new song?’ It’s hard to maintain being relevant in the music industry. I’m fully understanding of living in my purpose. This album is my fifth album, and there’s so many reasons. I want to keep making hits, there’s so many reasons. I want to be dubbed and deemed one of the most entertaining artists of this time.”

Reasons aside, Omarion has quite a few tattoos. The singer tells us that they are inspired by everything from family, to his career, to art, and more. And it all started when he was 18 years old.

The multi-talented musician spills the details about the origins and meaning behind his tattoos in our one-on-one

There’s going to be another addition of love for this Love & Hip Hop family! Singer Omarion and longtime girlfriend Apryl Jones, who also star in the VH1 reality show’s Hollywood franchise, have announced that they’re expecting another baby together!

The pair each took to their personal Instagram pages to share the news separately. Yep, you read that right. It’s a girl!

Apryl showed off her growing bump with their 1-year-old son, Megaa Omari Grandberry, looking up at his mama and sibling in her belly in a sweet post that read, “And he thought he was having a brother lol…. #5months #itsagirl @1omarion.”

In fact, Omarion’s post on IG shared the intimate and special moment that they found out the sex of the baby. His video post showed the sonogram of their little bun in the oven, while hearing the technician announce it’s a girl—and the reaction is heartwarming.

The couple welcomed their son “Megaa” last August, an experience that was shared with fans on the reality show. Congratulations to the couple!

Hotnewhiphop.com – Omarion is gearing up for a new album, Reasons, to follow up his recent release Sex Playlist. The MMG-signed singer found a new wave of success with his hit single “Post To Be,” which he discusses in our recent interview– despite being around for quite some time, somehow that record turned out to be the biggest one of his career.

“Reasons was birthed out of the success of “Posed To Be.” My history is no mystery– people know how long I’ve been in the entertainment biz. For me to have a song not only as big as “Post To Be,” but a song that is the biggest song of my career is kinda like, ‘wow.’ A lot of people counted me out, a lot of people didn’t understand that I’d get to this place, so Reasons is an answer to all of that,” Omarion tells HNHH.

The singer went on to reveal some of the collaborators he’s tapped for Reasons, including producers like Nic Nac (responsible for Chris Brown’s “Loyal”), Knxlwedge, The Stereotypes, as well as artists Verse Simmonds, James Fauntleroy and more.

Omarion had nothing but praise to say about his collaborator Fauntleroy, “James Fauntleroy, who is not only a great friend of mine, but I consider him like a young Yowda.”

Watch the full interview below. Reasons drops on October 23rd.
