Omarion is giving fans a few more Reasons to celebrate this summer. The Maybach Music Group crooner has revealed an official release date for his fifth solo album.

O’s first album in over two years, the follow-up to 2014’s Sex Playlist, arrives June 16 via MMG/Atlantic.

The former B2K star took to Instagram to make the announcement, posting a shirtless photo of himself with both hands on his face. The caption read: “Reasons. 6.16.17.” It was accompanied by two scorpion emojis.

Keeping his word, Omarion decides to come through tonight and shares his new single & accompanying video “BDY On Me,” from his forthcoming album Reasons, which is due out later this year.

Shot in Cape Town, South Africa, the video finds Maybach O chillin on the beach, before throwing a house party & getting extra cozy in the bath tub with a bad shorty in the process. The NSFW video can be seen uncensored here if you wish to see so.

Anatii first album ARTIIFACT is a masterpiece that stretches beyond hip hop and R&B. The producer/singer/songwriter flirts with ‘world music’, Nigerian sounds and traditional Xhosa melodies to give his listeners a challenging but epic body of work suitable for this era of music where Drake’s “One Dance” reigns supreme.

A major feat for Anatii was signing up his boy Omarion for the project. Not only does O feature on the hit single “Tell Me” but he also flew down to SA (Durban to be specific) where they shot the epic Summertime fun video. Check out the dope visuals below:

Omarion celebrates his birthday with a special gift for fans. No, it’s not a new Care Package, but the 32-year-old R&B crooner delivers his confessional banger, “It’s Whatever,” produced by G. Ry.

“I’ve been only single for months,” he sings. “I’m just trying to get my swag back.”

Things get even more personal — with nods to his high-profile breakup from Apryl Jones — as he adds: “Torn apart, catch me I’m on the run / Told my BM she can have that / Put that on my daughter and my son / Every night I’m having flashbacks.”

Along with the song, he revealed that his long-awaited album Reasons is coming in early 2017.

Omarion competed for charity on Sunday with his kids watching from the sidelines. Megaa and A’mei came with mom Apryl Jones to support their father.

Omarion joined other celebrities in a basketball game that benefited Homeboy Industries. The foundation has helped thousands of former gang members make a positive impact in society. More than ten thousand men have gone through the program and turned their lives around. Proceeds from Sunday’s game went towards advancing the non-profit.

Omarion has come a long way since emerging with the boy band B2K in 2002. Now 31, the multitalented entertainer has two young children, a new creative direction, and a new album on the way.

O’s life changed dramatically in August 2014, when his girlfriend, Apryl Jones, gave birth to their son, Megaa Omari. A few months later, his fourth album, Sex Playlist, produced his biggest hit ever, the Chris-Brown-and-Jhené-Aiko-assisted “Post to Be.” The single, which was certified platinum and reached the top 20 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in 2015, quieted doubters who said his best years were behind him and also elucidated what listeners wanted from him.

After delaying the release of his fifth album, Reasons, to drop the mixtape Care Package 3 in November 2015, Omarion, whose daughter A’mei Kazuko was born in March 2016, is now preparing to release the 15-track follow-up later this year on Maybach Music Group/Atlantic Records.
